With air consolidation out of the city and Adana we get urgent consignments to the destination airport in 24-72 hours.

  • Air Import and Export
HFor air import and export, AWB issuing, consolidation and customs run in one file; volumetric weight is calculated at 1 m³ = 167 kg.
  • Airline Agreements
We hold annual capacity agreements with three cargo airlines, so space is available even in peak season and your consignment is not bumped to the next flight.
  • Air Consolidation
Consolidated loads collected twice a week are combined under a single AWB; below 100 kg the unit cost falls markedly.
  • Door-to-Door Air Freight
Factory collection, airport customs and distribution on arrival in one file; the consignee only signs for delivery.
  • Air Project Cargo
For pieces exceeding hold dimensions or needing special securing, we plan charter and bespoke pallet solutions.
  • Balancing Transit Time and Cost
Non-urgent items go by sea and time-critical ones by air, cutting total cost against sending everything on one mode.

Sea Freight Operations

With weekly container loadings from the port hub Port we carry FCL and LCL to Mediterranean and Northern European ports.

  • FCL and LCL Container Transport
28 tonnes in a 20′ container, 76 m³ in a 40′ HC; with LCL you pay by cubic metre and even a single carton is accepted.

CFR and FOB deliver to port, DAP and DDP to the door; the quotation states plainly which costs fall to whom under each Incoterm.
  • Domestic Haulage and Destination Customs
Haulage from factory to port, stuffing supervision and customs clearance at destination all run in one file.
  • Triangular and Cross-Trade Shipments
Transport between points inside Europe without passing through our home market; invoicing and origin documents are arranged accordingly.

For project cargo such as machine lines, generators and steel structures, the parts list, lashing plan and arrival sequence at the assembly site are planned together.
  • Insurance and Cargo Tracking
CMR insurance is standard on every run (8.33 SDR/kg limit); all-risk cargo insurance on invoice value is added on request. Vehicle position is tracked live on the panel.
  • Intermodal and Multimodal Planning
We combine road, Ro-Ro, rail and sea under a single transport document and offer two plans balancing time against cost.
  • One Operations Manager per File
The operations manager assigned to your shipment reports loading, border crossing and unloading; an out-of-hours line is also open.
Air Transport

Thanks to annual capacity agreements with three cargo airlines, Caravanline Logistics gets urgent consignments to the destination airport within 24-72 hours.

• Airport-to-Airport:We take the cargo at the origin airport warehouse, issue the AWB and carry it to the destination airport warehouse.
• Door-to-Airport and Airport-to-Door:Factory collection, export customs, the flight and distribution on arrival run in one file — no intermediate invoices to deal with.
• Flight and Customs Tracking:Flight status, warehouse-in time at destination and customs clearance are visible on the same panel via the AWB number.

Sea Transport

With weekly FCL and LCL loadings from the port hub Port we run scheduled shipments to Mediterranean and Northern European ports; on high-volume cargo the unit cost falls well below road.

• Container Capacity:A 20′ container holds 28 tonnes and 33 m³, a 40′ HC 76 m³. With LCL you share the container with other cargo and pay only for the cubic metres you use.

• Port Operations:Stuffing supervision, release-order tracking, terminal handling and, if needed, temporary bonded storage are all handled by us.

• Lane and Transhipment Network:Our the port hub services connect to Trieste, Koper, Rotterdam, Antwerp and Hamburg directly or with a single transhipment; the transhipment port and waiting time are stated in the quotation.

Road Transport

With fixed weekly departures from the border crossing we carry FTL and LTL to eight European countries.

• Route and Schedule Plan:Germany 6-7 days, the Netherlands and Belgium 7, France 7-8, Italy 5-6, Austria 5, Poland 6, Romania 3-4: these are our average transit times by lane. For urgent loads a double-crewed vehicle shortens them.
• FTL and LTL Options:A 13.6 m curtainsider takes 33 euro pallets and 24 tonnes as a full load; in groupage, consignments from a single pallet upwards are consolidated twice a week. Both options use the same departure schedule.
• Door Delivery and Unloading Slot:We collect from the loading address, book the unloading slot at the destination warehouse and upload the signed CMR the same day.

Rail Transport

Long distances by block train and container wagon, loading to the European lanes from the the city-the inland terminal and the city hub terminals.

• Unit Cost:For heavy, less time-critical cargo, rail saves noticeably per run compared with road; it is the usual choice above 20 tonnes.
• Damage Risk:No transhipment inside the wagon and a fixed timetable reduce damage and delay risk; you avoid vehicle queues at border crossings.
• Tonnage Capacity:A single wagon carries up to 60 tonnes; with a block-train setup capacity reaches 1,000 tonnes per train.

FTL Full Load

In FTL the vehicle is dedicated to your cargo alone; a 13.6 m curtainsider offers 33 euro pallets and 24 tonnes, a mega trailer 100 m³.

• Direct Drive, No Transhipment:The cargo never enters a warehouse and is not transhipped; it travels from loading to unloading address in one vehicle.
•Damage and Time:With no handling at all, damage risk drops; without waiting for consolidation, transit time shortens by 1-2 days.
• Committed Arrival Day:Because the vehicle goes straight to destination, the arrival day is committed in the contract; on the German lane that is 6-7 days.

LTL Groupage

In LTL groupage a trailer is shared between several customers; you pay for the pallets and cubic metres you occupy.

• Price per Cubic Metre:The cost of the run is split between loads, so you do not have to hire a whole vehicle for a single pallet.
• Small-Batch Shipments:Suitable for consignments from 1 to 12 pallets; you can ship frequently in small batches without tying up stock.
• Fixed Consolidation Day:Consolidation closes on Tuesdays and Fridays, so you can plan production and dispatch knowing which cut-off you will make.

Intermodal Transport Plan

In intermodal transport the cargo stays in the same unit while moving between road, Ro-Ro, rail and sea; a single transport document is issued.

•Time-Cost Balance:The the port hub-Trieste Ro-Ro brings Italy down to 5-6 days while cutting driver hours and fuel; every quotation offers two options, fast and economical.
• Emissions:Emissions per tonne-kilometre fall on the Ro-Ro and rail legs; we provide a per-shipment carbon report to customers who ask.
• Mode Change:If the border is congested or a port strikes, the cargo shifts to another mode inside the same unit; the shipment is not replanned from scratch.

Customs Clearance

At Caravanline Logistics we issue the T1 transit declaration, the ATR movement certificate and the EUR.1 proof of origin through our own customs brokerage.

• Declaration Time: The declaration is prepared before the vehicle departs; in 2025 our average customs wait at the border crossing was 5 hours 40 minutes.
• Legal Compliance: T1, ATR, EUR.1, certificate of origin and the invoice set are checked before loading; in 2025 only four vehicles waited at the border for missing paperwork.
• Our In-House Customs Brokerage:Our customs brokerage is in-house: HS code classification, duty calculation and clearance in the destination country are handled without outsourcing.

Import and Export Organisation

Caravanline Logistics runs the whole file: on export from factory collection to clearance at destination, on import from collection in the loading country to delivery into the bonded warehouse.

• Lane Network:Collection and distribution are handled by our partner agents in Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Italy, Austria, Poland and Romania.
• Documents and Regulations:All documents, including ATR, EUR.1, T1 and ADR transport papers, are issued by our in-house customs brokerage.
• Mode Choice:We split one order between air for the urgent items and sea for the bulky ones, optimising total cost and arrival date together.

Agency and Partner Network

Collection, distribution and customs clearance in the destination country are handled by our partner agents in eight European countries. Caravanline Logistics remains your single point of contact; you do not need a separate contract with the receiving company.

• Local Regulatory Knowledge:Local rules — unloading slot systems in Germany, ZTL restrictions in Italy, driver accommodation rules in France — are taken into account at planning stage.
• Operations Support on Arrival:If there is an unexpected customs check or a slot change at destination, our partner agent steps in the same day.
• Local Cost:Because distribution and terminal handling at destination are billed at local rates, door delivery costs less than single-carrier transport.
